DAVID DAVIDSON
David Davidson is a landscape, travel and wildlife photographer whose work captures the beauty, diversity and character of both the natural world and the places that people have shaped.
His photography encompasses high-resolution landscapes in both colour and monochrome, dramatic mountain sceners, documentary travel images, and intimate portraits of wildlife in its natural habitat.
His work has taken him from the Chilterns, along the Thames Path National Trail, through major cities in the UK, and across the hills of the Scottish Highlands and Snowdonia to the awe inspiring panoramas of Utah and Arizona, New Zealand, Namibia, Eastern Nepal and central Hokkaido Japan.
David's wildlife photography ranges from Chiltern Red Kites and other birds of prey to Namibia's iconic "Big Five", always with an emphasis on portraying subjects in their natural environment.
His photographs have appeared in news and current affairs publications, corporate web communications, educational books and scenic calendars, as well as on the walls of individuals who want fine art prints. Clients have included The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Scots Magazine, The BBC and AOL. In addition to undertaking commissions, David also licences his photographs through the Alamy stock image agency.
David believes that above all photography is about the joy of creating images that interest, intrigue and inspire. He hopes you enjoy exploring the galleries and his photographic perspective.
